El final <\/span>del<\/span> año 2008 presencio una nueva ola de violencia en contra la humanidad con la Guerra de <\/span>Israel<\/span> en contra <\/span>del<\/span> pueblo Palestino en <\/span>Gaza<\/span>. El ataque por la fuerza ocupadora de <\/span>Israel<\/span> comenzando el 27 de diciembre – bajo el pretexto de la guerra en contra de Hammas – ha matado a centenares de palestinos y herido a miles de personas, muchas de ellas mujeres y niños.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n La guerra en Gaza está destruyendo casas, escuelas, hospitales y también campos agrícolas Palestinos. El pueblo Palestino en Gaza presentemente está enfrentando una carencia de medicinas, agua, alojamiento y comida. Mientras que al mismo tiempo campesinos Palestinos no pueden producir su propia comida. La situación se está volviendo más trágica cada día.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n En nuestra lucha por los derechos humanos y en contra de la guerra, nuestro Movimiento Campesino Internacional condena los ataques militares crueles por Israel. La Vía Campesina ve esta guerra como un acto de violencia extrema en contra de la humanidad cual debe parar inmediatamente.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n La Vía Campesina como movimiento solidario internacional de campesinos, pequeños agricultores, desposeídos y pueblos indígenas presentamos nuestro más profunda preocupación y solidaridad con los campesinos y el pueblo Palestino quienes están sufriendo muerte y sufrimiento en esta guerra.
